Rainbows on the Horizon

A "rainbow baby" is a baby born after a loss.  They are truly special and we celebrate them.  If you have recently experienced the birth of your rainbow baby and would like to add his/ her announcement here, please email us at [email protected].

"Don't turn around.  Don't look back.   Keep moving forward.  Keep pushing.  The pot of gold is at the end of the rainbow, not the beginning."  ~ Ziad K. Abdelnour

"On August 15, 2024 at 11:11pm, we welcomed our rainbow baby Abigail Grace Gibbons. Abby is preceded by her older brother Peter, who was born still on January 12, 2023. We are grateful for our Reagan Marie bear who symbolized Peter's presence at Abby's birth." ~Lindsay and Kyle Gibbons

"After losing our first daughter Emerson at 14 weeks, then losing our second daughter Josie Anne at 38 weeks, we were so grateful to welcome our double rainbow miracle, Noah James, this summer. He fought so hard to get here and we love him so much. He’s got two angels looking out for him!" ~ Kate Luevano

"I had trouble sharing my joy after the pain of losing my daughter Lynné Moody in May of 2020 but I am blessed to have had another chance at motherhood. My husband and I lost our Daughter Lynné at almost 27 weeks on 5/14/2020. We gave birth to our son, TJ on 3/27/2021 and our daughter Grace on 1/18/2023. We now have three beautiful children, one angel in heaven and two on earth❤️."
~Charlene Moody

"Our sweet baby Brooks Preston was born at 31 weeks gestation on February 15, 2021 and went to be with Jesus on March 7, 2021 so he was only with us earthside for a short three weeks. We were at CHOA during this time and were shattered, heartbroken, and so many more emotions that words can’t even describe after losing Brooks. My husband and I had a miscarriage 6 months later in October 2021 which again led to more heartbreak. Finally in early 2022 I became pregnant with our double rainbow baby and gave birth to our second son, Liam Maverick Johnson on November 2nd, 2022 at Northside Forsyth. We are so in love and know he’s being watched over by his older brother (Brooks) and his older sister (Hope) in Heaven. We adore Liam so much!" ~ Melissa Johnson

"After losing our daughter Anastasia at 23 weeks last year on October 2, 2021 I’m happy to announce the birth of our twins, Camden and Chloe, born on Oct 2, 2022 delivered by the same doctor who delivered Anastasia. She just so happen to be on call." ~Amara & Kendrick Seth

"After losing our son, Harrison, at almost 39 weeks in October 2021, we were blessed with the birth our rainbow daughter, Abigail Louise Philbeck on November 12, 2022. Heartstrings has been a wonderful resource for us and we love our Reagan Marie bear, we include it in our family photos."

"We are happy to announce the arrival of our Rainbow baby this past year. Little Miss Raine entered this world 10/11/2022. Her big brother Rhylan was stillborn 6/2021 at NSC and we had such an amazing team during our time of grief and shock. We spent the pregnancy anxious and uncertain but blessed to have a supportive healthcare team that helped us through it. Even some of the nurses who delivered Rhylan were there to help us welcome our little miracle baby as we exited our season of sadness into a season of joy. We will never forget both experiences and the impact made, lessons learned, and tears shed. We know Raine's big brother is always watching and will guide her through her life. We can't wait to share our journey with her one day." Lindsey, Rhett, Rhylan , and Raine Panter

"Our son Hugo Hill Kolojejchick-Kotch was born still on October 21, 2021 at 39 weeks gestation. We love Hugo so much and feel him with us every day, even though he is not with us in the way we hoped. He then helped protect his little brother Bowie, who was born safely on January 17, 2023. We are so grateful for our two babies." ~Jennica Hill

"Sofia Rose Isaacs, born on 2/22/24 at 3:15 am, weighs 6lb 5 ounces and is 19 inches long!
Sofia came into our lives 2 years after losing our angel Milagro due to Trisomy 18. Sofia is our rainbow baby, the one who has started healing our hearts.

We love you, Sofia Rose…

Your mom, dad, and big sister."  ~ the Isaacs family
