Parent Panel needed
The Perinatal Loss Office is offering bereavement training classes to hospital employees who work with perinatal loss families.  We cover a variety of topics including the unique aspects of perinatal grief, communication skills (what to say and what not to say), and assisting families in crating memories.  One of the most meaningful and useful aspects of the class is when parents are invited to share their hospital experiences.

We are in need of moms, dads, and grandparents who are willing to speak about their experience in the hospital.  If this is something you are interested in, please call our office at 404-851-8177 for more information.  We have a classes offered on the Atlanta and Forsyth campuses in September, and we would welcome you to be a part of it.

In the past, parents who were on the panel have said this was a healing and helpful experience for them.  They were able to reinforce the positive aspects of the care they received, as well as to provide insight and suggestions for improving and enhancing the treatment and support offered to families in the future.
